BAMN
Ensemble, established in 1995, is committed to freedom of expression…freedom
of choice…the alternative voice in contemporary theatre! Its members
are comprised of actors, directors, writers, producers, lighting and
sound professionals, set-builders, costumers, hair and makeup artists,
and other industry professionals, with most being members of one or
more of the professional performers’ unions. It is our goal to
bring professional theatre to the community, thereby exposing adults
and youth to alternative career choices in the arts. BAMN is also involved in drama programs for youth as well as senior citizens, who seem to be excluded by many programs. We regularly use seniors and youth in our productions, and have a number of them in our ranks. BAMN membership is not exclusive to experienced actors, as we offer classes and workshops for all levels, from beginning to professional. |
