is a professional actors' outreach program founded in 1990 to present interactive, audience participatory enrichment programs, workshops, staff development, Socio-Drama, and plays to any school community or other business entity. All of our work is designed within the framework of National and State Educational Standards.
ETI is a unique blend of some of the most experienced and talented professionals in the Arts Community, consisting of professional actors, experienced educators, facilitators, artists, dancers, musicians, and visual artists. ETI’s staff development provides educators with the chance to develop the skills necessary to teach, and to perform, theatre by offering in-service training opportunities, providing standards-based classroom and teaching resource materials and developing information and support networks.
ETI exposes youth and educators to the arts by incorporating visual, theatrical, dance and musical activities to the curriculum. Each program is individualized for your group and can be based on Open Court stories or any subject matter. Educational materials, such as Study Guides, provided in advance, provide background information on the artists and the art form, and suggest ways to extend the arts experience into the classroom, complete with tie-ins to academic standards.
